Elizabeth Reaser in Cushnie et Ochs | 2012 MTV Video Music Awards

I often believe in the phrase ‘better late than never’ — especially when it comes to bringing attention to a look that was kind of recent. Though we’re officially done with the Primetime Emmy Awards and, pratically, the month of September, I wanted to take a look back at one of the looks from the MTV Video Music Awards a couple of weeks ago.

Elizabeth Reaser joined her male “Twilight” costars Peter Facinelli, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Jackson Rathbone at the VMAs this year where they presented the preview of the trailer for the final film in the vampire series, “Breaking Dawn: Part 2″.

Because this is the VMAs, Elizabeth kept it cool in a sexy black leather cutout dress by Cushnie et Ochs. Liz’s sleeveless knee-length design had been modified from a dress in their Fall/Winter 2010 collection — aka — she removed the cap sleeves.

With a bed-head wavy mane and smoky lined eyes, Liz finished off her look with a black open to ankle strap sandals.

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ hits theaters on November 16th!
